The weather was good today, so we spent a day up in the mountains just north of Taipei. Although it was nice and sunny when we set out, it was pretty windy, so I had plenty of layers of clothes on. The bus dropped as off at one the parks half way up the mountain, from which we walked down to another park (which was more protected from the wind). I wanted to play in the little streams which ran through the park, but Mummy and Daddy didn’t like my idea of jumping in feet first, so I satisfied myself with just splashing my hands in it.
Later on, we took another bus up to nearer the top of the mountains, at ChinTienGang. Unfortunately, this was on the other side of the mountains, which it turned out were covered in cloud. An overcast day combined with a stronger wind, and the drop in temperature up that high made it feel much more like a ‘bracing’ English spring day than a Taiwanese one. As a result, I only had a quick run around before we retreated back down the mountain.
