Happy Christmas!

Loadsa presents!Yuletide greetings to one and all! As you can see, Father Christmas was good to me in my first year.

The main festivities for Christmas were actually on Christmas Eve. Nearly everyone (i.e. everyone except Daddy) works on Christmas Day, so we invited people round to celebrate Christmas the evening beforehand.

The turkey we got was about the same weight as me - which meant that there was plenty for everyone (although I did notice Daddy muttering about whether there would be enough cold turkey leftover for him). We also had a short present opening session (although family presents were kept until the next day).

There wasn’t much chance of a White Christmas here with temperatures in the high 20s. After opening all my presents (thank you to everyone who sent me toys/educational books/clothes etc.), we decided to go on an Expedition. This involved first going to the Taipei Police Station to get Daddy a 3-year extension on his residence card (after I smiled at the nice lady, she gave Daddy an extension longer than he is legally allowed!), followed by a visit to Marilyn’s new cafe.

Of course, today is also my 3-month anniversary. Not a bad way to spend an anniversary!

P.S. One of the (dis)advantages of having a computer-obsessed Dad, is the effect it has on presents. One of the presents he got me was to register my own IDN (International Domain Name) … 游允斌.com. These domain names only became available this month, and so those people stuck with a lousy browser like IE will need a new plugin to make this work.
He also got mummy 梁惠珠.com - 他笨蛋!
