DaAn flower festival
Today we went to the local (20 minutes walk away) park - DaAn park (大安森林公園). It was the first day of a flower festival.
The weather’s been a bit chilly recently, which explains why Daddy was wearing a jumper for the first time in 10 months.
Nearly the whole park was taken up with flower exhibits - fields of flowers, herb gardens, and of course huge pyramids of flowers.
We ended up spending about 4 and a half hours wandering around the flower show (and the nearby market), having a mini-picnic, and stopping for lunch on the way back in nearby 永康街. Those of us travelling by buggy found the whole experience quite exhausting.
